Reinhard Bonnke

Stellar ministries is glad to present the German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke.  Reinhard Bonnke was born on April 19, 1940, in Germany.  He was a well-known Pentecostal evangelist that held gospel mission crusades throughout Africa.  He started his ministry in Africa in 1967.

 

 When his mother began to speak to him about sin, Reinhard Bonnke became a Christian at the age of nine years old.  Furthermore, at the age of 10, Reinhard Bonnke testified that he was called by God to be a missionary in Africa and subsequently testified to experiencing the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  Reinhard Bonnke grew up in a Christian home and had a godly influence on his life.  After World War II, his father became a pastor, and Reinhard Bonnke continued praying and preparing for the ministry. 

 

Reinhard Bonnke attended seminary at the Bible College of Wales in Swansea.  He was inspired by the director Rees Howell and subsequently prayed a specific prayer, “Lord, I want to be a man of faith.”  In 1974, Reinhard Bonnke founded a mission organization called Christ for all Nations.  The mission headquarters was in South Africa and also Germany.  Today there are Christ for all Nations offices across five continents.  Reinhard Bonnke conducted numerous crusades in other African countries such as Nigeria and Kenya and later became known as the “Billy Graham of Africa.” 

 

Reinhard Bonnke has touched the lives of multitudes of people.  He blazed a pathway of faith across the continent of Africa.  He died on December 7, 2019, at the age of 79 in Orlando, Florida.  Stellar ministries is glad to present the ministry of this German evangelist that answered the call to preach the gospel.  The Bible says in Isa 6:8 NIV, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?  Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
