Truckstop Ministries was founded in 1981 and based out of Georgia.  The ministry has a paid staff and a multitude of volunteers across the county.  The Truckstop Ministry relies on and promotes prayer.  There are chapels scattered throughout the country’s highway system.  The chapels are open for prayer and there is a toll-free prayer line where truckers can request prayer.  This ministry was founded by Rev Joseph H. Hunter, in 1981.  It started out as a Bible Study that was open for truckers and has grown out of a need to spiritually help the truckers of America!
