Surfers for Jesus

When the Beach Boys came out with their hit song “Surfin USA,” the surfing craze has continued on the sandy white beaches of the world.  Surfing is famous all over the world.  There is nothing like catching a wave and surfing on the emerald ocean waters!  Everyone loves the beach.  That includes some of the most well-known preachers of our time, such as Joel Osteen.  People flock to the beach to swim, catch some sun, and marvel at the wonder of the ocean.  It is a whole different world altogether!  One Stellar Ministry that this site is excited to showcase is a group called “Christian Surfers.”  This group is worldwide with local chapters in the USA, New Zealand, France, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, Spain, Costa Rica, Norway, and the United Kingdom.  The fellowship in the “Spirit” as they pray, study the Bible and catch a wave when they surf on the ocean blue.  They even have a “Surfer’s Bible” and have starred in movies, such as “Walking in Water.”  They organize great mission trips, youth camps, and mentor youth into a closer walk with God!  The Christian Surfers International is a stellar ministry!
